About Camden
Camden is building somewhere everyone can thrive, by making our borough the best place to live, work, study and visit. Because we’re not just home to UK’s fast-growing economy. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today. And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
It has never been more important to ensure people have access to good support, advice and information to allow them to make decisions about their lives. Our Money Advice Camden service works tirelessly to understand our communities here in Camden, and to help people access the support they need as quickly and seamlessly as possible, helping keep people on track. Our team is passionate about the difference we can make in people’s lives, ensuring no one is left behind.
About the role
The Campaign Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of targeted campaigns that aim to provide proactive support to the people who need it most. Working across council teams such as homelessness, public health, education and data analytics you will work to understand the potential needs of specific groups of residents and to deliver interventions that provide financial support and specialist advice in proactive and targeted ways.
Many of our campaigns are data-driven, and some are delivered in partnership with voluntary and community sector partners – overall, the objective of this work is to ensure that people facing challenges in our community can receive early and effective support, preventing crisis and increasing financial resilience.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have experience delivering resident-focused projects or services and a strong understanding of financial inclusion, welfare benefits and debt support. You will be a confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with residents, community partners and colleagues across a range of services.
These roles are ideal for people who are organised, collaborative and passionate about improving outcomes for residents. You'll have experience working with data and digital systems, managing competing priorities and using insight and evaluation to continually improve the impact of our campaigns across Camden.
