Redbridge is changing. With ambitious regeneration plans, a need for new infrastructure, and plenty of investment on the way, we are reshaping our organisation to be better equipped to have the greatest impact for our community. We’re putting our customers voice at the centre of how we design and deliver services. This is your chance to be part of a new management team with a mandate for change and a shared sense of purpose.

With around 4,500 tenants and 2,500 leaseholders, Redbridge presents a highly diverse profile of housing stock – that reflects the diversity of our communities. This role will lead on the delivery of high-quality housing management services across this portfolio, with a focus on three key areas:

  • tenancy / leasehold management
  • resident engagement & customer service
  • caretaking and grounds maintenance

We’re looking for an experienced housing management professional, who can take our services to the next level: identifying opportunities to innovate and modernise how we work. Your leadership skills will be vital in enabling the talent in our teams to flourish, setting high expectations while also creating opportunities for professional development in pursuit of service improvement, increased resident satisfaction and adapting our provision in response to new regulatory requirements. A strong focus on communication, relationships and people management will be vital in creating a shared vision that people can get behind.

You’ll enhance our emphasis on quality assurance and getting things ‘right first time’ – making better use of technology in our approach and data in our reporting. You should also have the breadth of perspective to operate strategically across the system – identifying opportunities to work more closely with other teams and partner organisations on areas such as community safety, public health and social care / wellbeing.

This is a housing leadership role with scale and breadth of professional opportunity. It comes with high expectations and the autonomy to really make this your own and demonstrate your impact in a high-profile service.

Closing date: 28th September.
