What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved
As Project Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of London’s Tree Equity and Urban Resilience Initiative on behalf of the London Tree Officers Association (LTOA). You’ll engage and build capacity across London boroughs, coordinating work programmes and priorities to develop treescape improvements in areas of greatest need. Working closely with the Greater London Authority (GLA), LTOA, boroughs and other partners, you’ll build and manage relationships, oversee grant funding and awards, and secure additional finance. Your leadership will help turn ambitious plans into successful pilot projects that create greener communities.

This role is perfect for someone who is seeking an opportunity to make a difference, working to have a positive impact on urban communities and places that need green interventions the most. 

We seek a highly motivated individual who has working knowledge of tree and urban greening policies, strategies and issues in an urban environment. 

Excellent project management skills and experience dealing with complex projects 

Excellent track record of financial management, budget control and experience of delivering services within financial limits.

The role will be part of our “hybrid” working arrangements with some remote homeworking and some time each week based in the office of the LTOA host (Camden Council) or other partner boroughs as required.
