Advert Text

One of the Council’s key priorities is reducing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and making our communities safe places to live, work and spend time in. The Community Safety Team lead on this, working in partnership and leading on a multi-agency response to problem-solving ASB cases to ensure residents receive an excellent service.

This is an opportunity for someone with strongly developed partnership working, communication and case work skills to manage and be part of a team of ASB Officers in a busy environment and ensure best practice is embraced.

The role involves nurturing close relationships with a range of partners both internal to the Council and externally such as the Police and Registered Social Landlords. Knowledge of the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 is essential to this role as the successful candidate will be expected to make effective and appropriate use of the tools and powers available.
