Data and Compliance Officer

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Data and Compliance Officer to join our Connect to Work Team within WorkPath.
If you are passionate about ensuring high-quality data, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting the successful delivery of employment programmes that improve residents' lives, we would love to hear from you.
This is an exciting 29-month fixed-term opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of Connect to Work, a government-funded employment programme designed to support residents facing barriers to employment into sustainable work.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on data quality, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting across the Connect to Work programme.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements, GDPR, council policies, and programme standards.
- Support financial assurance activities, including expenditure monitoring, evidence management, audit preparation, and funding compliance.
- Produce accurate reports, dashboards, and management information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the programme remains compliant and delivers positive outcomes.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience of data management, compliance, performance monitoring, or programme assurance.
- Experience of analysing information and producing accurate reports for a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GDPR, information governance requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong Excel skills and experience of reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
Experience of working within local government, employment services, or government-funded programmes would be advantageous.
